Star Wars Galaxy of Adventures: Obi-Wan Kenobi
Star Wars Galaxy of Adventures returns with a beautiful tribute to legendary Jedi Master, Obi-Wan Kenobi.
The beautifully-animated microseries Star Wars Galaxy of Adventures made its long-awaited return on October 28 with an emotional tribute to beloved fan favourite and legendary Jedi master, Obi-Wan Kenobi.
Looking out onto the dramatic Tatooine landscape as the twin suns rise above the horizon, old “Ben” Kenobi reminisces about days gone by: His epic duels against Maul and General Grievous, his time fighting alongside the clone troopers of the Grand Army of the Republic on Geonosis, the time he rode into battle on his valiant varactyl steed, Boga, and his fateful showdown with his former apprentice and friend, Anakin Skywalker.
This clip manages to hit every emotional beat of Obi-Wan’s journey in the prequels in the space of just one minute. A testament to the extraordinary talents of the directors and animators over at Titmouse.
The microseries made its debut back in November 2018 but only a handful of shorts have featured prequel-era content. In fact, until October 2020, only one dedicated prequel short had been released: “Yoda vs. Count Dooku – Size Matters Not” back in February 2019. Could this latest clip be ushering in a new wave of shorts based on the prequel trilogy? Let’s hope so!
You can watch all 50+ Galaxy of Adventures shorts over on the Star Wars Kids channel or Star Wars Kids Disney page.
