Star Wars Galaxy of Adventures: Yoda vs Count Dooku – Size Matters Not
Galaxy of Adventures adapts a classic 'Attack of the Clones' scene for a new audience.
One of the joys of the Star Wars Galaxy of Adventures micro-series is seeing how the talented animators and artists at the Titmouse animation studio adapt beloved scenes from the Star Wars films for a younger audience. These bite-sized animated shorts are a perfect entry point for children who be too young and rambunctious to sit down and watch a full-length film, and older fans might get a kick out of watching their favourite scenes and duels retold in a new medium.
The Obi-Wan Kenobi short released in late October 2020 has amassed almost a million views since its release and is one of the few Galaxy of Adventures shorts based on prequel-era content. To date, there has been only one animated short based on Attack of the Clones and that is “Yoda vs Count Dooku – Size Matters Not”, an abridged but exhilarating adaptation of the iconic duel between the diminutive Grand Master Yoda and his former apprentice, the sinister and imposing Count Dooku.
Granted, this animated short is hardly new; it was originally released back in February 2019 as part of the micro-series’ first season. But with Star Wars fandom largely focused on the-then upcoming releases of The Rise of Skywalker, The Mandalorian season one, and Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, this delightful short may have slipped under many people’s radars.
If you’ve enjoyed this short and are looking for some light-hearted viewing to get you and your families through the cold winter months, you can find all 50+ Galaxy of Adventures shorts over on the Star Wars Kids channel or Star Wars Kids Disney page.
